Donald Ward - Canadian Military Artist

Donald Ward is originally from Peterborough, Ontario, who now resides in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. Son of a World War 2 veteran, he followed in his Father's footsteps, serving with the Hastings & Prince Edward Regiment​, The 8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise's) and The Royal Canadian Dragoons from 1975 to 1991.
Always having a strong interest in art from childhood, he has started in later life to remember through his art the service of Canadians in the Military. A strong supporter of Veterans Rights, he has produced a large number of works to support there causes. He has also produced a large portfolio of work remembering Canada's role in Military history, and the equipment and personnel involved. He continues to paint and create new memories daily.
